Hoe Chong Tin Pte Ltd is a well-established Singapore industrial metal and plastic packaging company.
A pioneer in its field, the company was established in Singapore in 1932 to engage in the manufacturing of tin can packaging for the petrol and chemicals, motor oils and lubricants, inks and paint, edible oils and food industries.
To cater for the increased demand for our products, we further expanded the business to set up production facilities in Malaysia. Our group of companies today includes the well-established Malayan Metal Works Sdn Bhd in Malaysia and its associates, Jebplus Sdn Bhd and Modernria Plastic Industries (M) Sdn Bhd.

We differentiate ourselves from other can manufacturers by providing a one-stop service centre whereby all our customers’ industrial packaging needs are met.
Today, we are a one-stop service centre providing a full range of can manufacturing services, i.e. from customised art work designs to film and plate making, metal lithography and tinplate printing .
In 1999, we were awarded the prestigious and world recognised ISO 9001 certification by SGS Yarsley International Certification Services which is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, in recognition of our achievement in establishing a quality management system for can manufacturing.

We possess the manufacturing capabilities to provide our customers with the required manufacturing services.
To constantly improve our services, we have and will continue to upgrade each stage of our manufacturing process by investing in machine technology.
Where necessary, our research and development team (R&D), consisting of highly skilled and experienced technicians and engineers, will modify these machines to suit our manufacturing needs. This allows us to adapt with flexibility to the manufacturing requirements of our customers.
The use of these machines have also enhanced our overall production capacity and increased our productivity. Moreover, it has improved the consistency in quality of our products such that we are able to produce customised, value added solutions in the shortest lead-time possible.

Our continuous improvement, for example, in the supply chain for waste reduction, and the integration of such processes, has led us to achieve higher efficiency and productivity, which ultimately translates into lower costs for our customers.
Further, we regularly obtain feedback from customers on our products and services so as to ensure that any issues raised are followed up promptly and efficiently.

Having been in the can manufacturing industry for nearly a century, we have to date built up an established track record and reputation with our customers both locally and overseas and with our network of suppliers.
This is achieved through regular consultations with our buyers and customers of which 95% of whom are repeat customers from well-established companies.
Additionally, our products are exported to many countries – just to name a few the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, China, India, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia.
